The Prostir project is a modern business hub is located in Zymna Voda, on the Lviv Circular Road.
The main task of the project is to create an attractive and unique identity for the business hub, combining office, warehouse, and commercial functions. The project embodies the atmosphere of sloped-roof private houses transforming to the horizontal wave tectonics integrating into the surroundings and contrasting with it by Falu red colour.

MAIN IDEA

The key philosophical and volumetric decision is the transformation of geometry from individual to communal, emphasizing both the individuality of individual companies and the community created by the hub. This transition from separated volumes gradually blends into a more typical logistics typology and scale.

The Prostir business hub consists of three buildings with total area of over 12,000 square meters. The main functional feature of the center is the modularity of structures, allowing each owner to select a suitable area, multiple of the module. The columns that determine the dimensions of the premises become the boundaries of the module (the distance between columns in the small building is 6 meters, in the large one - 12 meters). Each floor has open planning, enabling adaptation of spaces to specific tasks.

COMPUTATIONAL MORPHOGENESIS

The initial encounter with the facility happens from the side of the Circular Road, which influenced its architecture. Pitched roofs with pediments are terraced in such a way that anyone passing by can appreciate the perspective of the terracing from any angle. This is facilitated by the Circular Road, which is slightly elevated above the site where the buildings are situated opening the view to the folded roof bifurcation.

Volume branching emphasises facades separation that are made of translucent structures and oriented to the Circular Road enabling the presence of showrooms.
